Seaweed Skin Care
We spend 35$ billion dollars globally on cosmetics and the creams takes a lion share of the business. Who hasn’t watched the late night infomercials with super models and ridicules S&H fees. Why are still many unhappy faces? Because we only address the symptoms, not necessarily the underlying causes. I have tried all sorts of creams in the past 10 years until I found that the creams could only complement the treatment that addresses the root cause of my dry skin. So you are not going to find a magic cream recommendation here. Rather a broader approach that encompasses seaweed benefits as food source, Seaweed natural productslike Brown Seaweed Extract, and seaweed soap, Seaweed Baths and wraps along with seaweed creams for an effective, less expensive natural skin care solution.
Have you ever wondered why Japanese women have flawless and luxurious skin? If you notice, even at 40 years of age Japanese women have very little wrinkles and have the softest skin (envious!) in the world. There are two main reasons. First, for decades, culturally, Japanese woman dedicated themselves to maintaining an unblemished silky skin right from their childhood days. They have trained themselves to be highly disciplined about eating right food, (seaweed dishes), keeping their skin moisturized with seaweed skin cream and are committed to such an extent that it has just become a habit for them to take care of their skin!
And secondly, they did not use all these chemical products that are prevalent today that promise beautiful skin in one week. They used natural products (Seaweed skin soaps and cream) which gifted them with the most beautiful skin. In simple terms, to look young and beautiful, we need two things –1) proper nutritional food for the body, and 2) optimal nutrition for skincare. You miss on of those, forget a smooth skin. Japanese live true their popular saying ‘’Fair skin make up for seven flaws’
Phytessence Wakame: The Amazing Japanese Seaweed skin care secret
Japanese farmers have for decades, been growing seaweed also known as Phytessence Wakame that has been used extensively for food and as seaweed skincare in Japan. Phytessence wakame is known as super food as it has significant concentrations of minerals, antioxidants, protein & vitamin. Not only do the Japanese eat Phytessence Wakame, they also use it to nourish their skin. The science behind phytessence wakame is that it has the ability to repel the enzyme that reduces the hyaluroic acid in your skin. So by using Phytessence wakame seaweed you can avoid dry skin, keep it smooth, and firm to have youthful appearance. Our body produces and stores Hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a protein and its primary function is to keep the skin cells moisturized at an optimal level all time. It helps to retain dermal fluid. As a result our skin remains smooth and firm due to the presence of Hyaluronic Acid in our body. In essence when we look at people who have a youthful skin, they simply have the correct level of Hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid – The chief protector of moisture in the skin
As we age, production of hyaluronic acid shrinks, resulting in reduced level of hydration of the skin. First to get affected by the reduction of the hyaluronic acid is the most susceptible layer of skin, the thin delicate skin around the eyes. As the level of Hyaluronic Acid goes down, skin loses it elasticity, smoothness and form wrinkles. This can happen when an enzyme called hyaluronidases degrades and lowers the viscosity of hyaluronic acid in our body. Exposing skin to chemicals, over exposure to sun and keeping skin dry can result in damaging our friend Hyaluronic Acid. So how do you naturally keep from loosing Hyaluronic Acid? Here comes the Japanese seaweed skin cream. It helps Hyaluronic Acid fight the evil hyaluronidases so as to keep our skin smooth.
Dry skin, hypothyroidism, Seaweed and Iodine.
One of the underlying causes of dry skin is under performance of Thyroid glands, a condition known as hypothyroidism. The situation may be mild to severe based on how much your body can produce the hormone thyroxine, T4 also know as tetraiodothyronine. As you get older, the gland becomes less efficient. Now if you a problem and don’t fix this, whatever magic cream from the remote part of French island recommended by any supermodel, ain’t going to solve the issue. Do you know lack of iodine in our food intake affect Thyroid and t4 production resulting in dry skin? Do you know that our dear friend Seaweed has very high iodine content as well as significant mineral content in them that could play an effective role in solving the dry skin issue?
It is no coincidence that the Japanese eat seaweed and got a great looking skin. The nutritional content of Seaweed benefits along with dedication to eating and using Seafood in every other form (creams, soaps, soups and wraps) to achieve that glorious skin
